Peoples Bank & Trust Donates to Waverly Jr. Women’s Club

Jeff Grimmett, AVP, Consumer Banking at Peoples Bank & Trust recently presented a check for $500 to Rhonda Watts for the Waverly Junior Woman’s Club. In giving back to the community, Peoples Bank & Trust is committed to not only serving our customers, but also the communities it serves.
The Waverly Junior Woman’s Club is an organization that is rooted in the Waverly community and is dedicated to community improvement by enhancing lives through volunteer service and activities. The club reaches out to the community by organizing the Trunk or Treat, giving teacher’s money to enhance their classrooms, sponsoring the annual Easter Egg Hunt, awarding out a College scholarship each year and giving monthly to community outreach needs. The Precious Baby Contest is a fundraiser held every year and winners are announced at the Waverly Picnic. The club meets every fourth Wednesday at the Waverly Public Library at 7:00 and new members are welcome to join at any time.
