Peoples Bank & Trust Donates to Waverly Fire Department

Jeff Grimmett, AVP, Consumer Banking at Peoples Bank & Trust recently presented a check for $500.00 to Glen Brown, Fire Chief, to benefit the Waverly Fire Department. In giving back to the community, Peoples Bank & Trust is committed to not only serving our customers, but also the communities it serves.

Mr. Brown said the Fire Department is very appreciative for the donation and they will use the funds to help purchase a new motorized stretcher for the ambulance. The Waverly Fire Department and Rescue Squad are certified volunteers and their services are available 24 hours a day.
