Peoples Bank Recognizes Long Term Employees

Peoples Bank & Trust would like to recognize the following employees for their continuous service to the bank. The bank recognizes its employees for each five year increment of their service with a plaque and an award.

Maggie Zahradka celebrated 20 years of service to the bank on April 10. Maggie is currently the Vice President, Operations (Technology). In this role, Maggie serves as the bank’s Technology Officer, Contingency Planning Coordinator, and Network Administrator with primary responsibility for the administration and implementation of the bank’s network, software systems. and IT hardware. She began her career at the bank as a Teller, Advanced to Assistant Network Administrator and then Network Administrator. She is the Treasurer of the Pana Quarterback Club and Member of the Women of the Moose. She has three children: Raustin, a sophomore at MacMurray College; Rhett, a junior at Pana High School and Madelyn, a freshman at Pana High School. Her main hobby is watching her children’s sports activities. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping and kayaking.

Edrie Walton will celebrate 15 years of service on June 19. Edrie works in the Taylorville branch as a Credit Administrator. Edrie is the Treasurer of the Stonington United Methodist Woman. She also helps at the Blue Mound/Stonington Food Pantry and participates in the Edinburg Community Choir. She lives in Stonington. Her mother is Vi Walton and she has three siblings: Ramie Walton, Dee Marron and Julie Chapman along with several nieces and nephews. Edrie enjoys traveling and reading.
