Peoples Bank & Trust Donates to Effingham County United Way

Terri Beal, AVP, Consumer Banking at Peoples Bank & Trust in Altamont recently presented a check for $500.00 to the United Way of Effingham County for their 2017 campaign. Accepting the donation were Peggy Valenti, Linda Hemmen and Marty Watson. In giving back to the community, Peoples Bank & Trust is committed to not only serving our customers, but also the communities it serves.

The Effingham County United Way campaign benefits 25 local Partner Agencies. The money donated supports programs and agencies making strides in education, income, health and basic needs. All the money raised in Effingham County stays in Effingham County.
