Peoples Bank & Trust Donates to Altamont Youth Sports Commission

Terri Beal, AVP, Consumer Banking at Peoples Bank & Trust recently presented a check for $500.00 to Corey Pals for the Altamont Youth Sports Commission. In giving back to the community, Peoples Bank & Trust is committed to not only serving our customers, but also the communities it serves.

The Altamont Youth Sports commission (AYSC) is a group of volunteers that coordinate the summer softball and baseball programs at Gilbert Park. The 2017 summer season had 145 children participate, ranging in age from Pre-School to 5th grade. This year, AYSC is putting together a plan to start reworking some of the ball fields that have started falling into disrepair. The generous donations from businesses and the team sponsors help in the improvements to Gilbert Park and also allow the leagues to continue to run smoothly. These donations of money and time are very much appreciated.
