Peoples Bank & Trust Recognizes Long Term Employees

Peoples Bank & Trust would like to recognize the following employees for their continuous service to the bank. The bank recognizes its employees for each five year increment of their service with a plaque and an award.
Yvonne Endris was recognized for 40 years of service. Yvonne joined the Bank on September 1, 1978. She started her banking career as a bookkeeper. She later moved to the teller line for several years before heading back to bookkeeping. She most recently served as AVP, Operations – Bookkeeping. Yvonne has seen many changes over the past forty years. Many of the bookkeeping operations, which were done manually, are now automated. She has also seen many changes in the overall banking industry. Yvonne resides in Pana. She has one son, Daniel (wife, Lindsey) and one granddaughter. When she is not working, Yvonne likes to read, crochet and travel to see her granddaughter.
Sherri Hunter was recognized for 30 years of service. Sherri joined the Bank in August of 1988. She began working at our facility in Tower Hill. After transferring to the Pana branch, she worked in the Teller line for several years. She later became Head Teller and currently serves as AVP, Operations – Tellers. Sherri has also seen many changes in the banking process through the years. Sherri says she enjoys working at Peoples Bank & Trust and enjoys her customers. She feels truly blessed to have great co-workers whom she considers family to work with. Sherri and her husband, Gary, have two sons. In her spare time, Sherri enjoys spending time with her family and doing things with her grandchildren. She also enjoys traveling to different states with her family and friend, Maggie.
Nancy Page was recognized for 20 years of service. Nancy began her career at Peoples August 6, 1998. She has worked as a teller in Pana, but mostly at our Tower Hill facility. Nancy said she enjoyed working with all customers, especially her Tower Hill and Shelbyville customers, whom she has gotten to know over the years. She enjoys seeing them and helping with all the new things the bank has to offer. Nancy also feels blessed to have been able to serve at our Tower Hill location. When Nancy is not working, she loves doing things at her church and teaching the children at Cornerstone in Shelbyville. She also like gardening and traveling. Now that she works part-time, Nancy plans to travel to see many things on her bucket list.
Kelley Darsham was recognized for 15 years of service. Kelley joined the Bank in August of 2003. She was a drive-up teller for many years, then transferred to the Main branch. She currently serves as a Teller/Customer Service Rep. Kelly resides in Pana. She has three children and two grandchildren. Kelley is an asset to the bank. She is always willing to take the extra step to accommodate her customers and her co-workers.
Brandon Leeman was recognized for 10 years of service. Brandon works at our Charleston facility. He began his banking career on August 25, 2008 with the Citizens National Bank. When Peoples bought the facility in 2010, Brandon decided to stay on as a Teller and join the Peoples Bank family. He currently serves as a Teller/Customer Service Rep. Brandon resides in Charleston.
Emily Lyons was recognized for 5 years of service. Emily joined the Bank September 9, 2013 as a part time teller in Waverly. She became full time in 2014 and currently is a Teller/Customer Service Rep. Emily is married to Jordan Lyons and has one son, Ethan. She is the daughter of Tony and Brenda Miller. When she is not working, Emily enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking or baking and crafting. Emily is a member of Franklin Christian Church.
