Peoples Bank & Trust Contributes to District #305 Education Foundation

Peoples Bank & Trust recently contributed $1,000 to the District #305 Education Foundation to assist with the financial needs and projects of the foundation. Dale Boyer, Community Bank President, along with Dawn Boddy, AVP Consumer Banking, presented the check to Marty Yeakel and Rod Randall, Directors with District #305 Education Foundation.

The mission of the CUSD #305 Education Foundation is to acquire and distribute resources for the schools in the communities of Arthur, Atwood, Hammond and Lovington in order to enrich learning opportunities for students, staff and communities. Over the years residents, businesses, and community organizations have shown a sincere commitment to the quality of education that the Arthur, Atwood, Hammond, and Lovington schools provide. Through the Foundation, local businesses, alumni, and community members are working together to supplement traditional educational funding in order to complement and enhance educational opportunities for our community’s children. The District #305 Education Foundation was created to complement and enhance the educational opportunities of students attending schools in the communities of Arthur, Atwood, Hammond, and Lovington. By attracting private and corporate donations, the Foundation can provide educational enrichment programs, services, and activities not normally financed by tax dollars. These additional educational opportunities for students, staff, parents, and the community can make a difference between good school system and an excellent one. Tax-deductible donations through the foundation provide educational enrichment programs, services and activities.

Community President Boyer shared, “Investing in kids and their activities is very important to Peoples Bank and Trust. The enhanced learning opportunities provided by this wonderful foundation is truly a game changer for the students in District #305. We are thrilled to be able to support this foundation and excited to see the good that they will continue to do for students in the future.”
