Peoples Bank & Trust Contributes to Arcola REC

Peoples Bank & Trust recently contributed $4,300 to the Arcola Recreation to assist with placing a new scoreboard at the new Baseball and Softball diamond located at Kelly Moore Memorial Park in Arcola, IL. Dale Boyer, Community Bank President, and Fredy Moreno, AVP Business Banker, presented the check to Nicolle Shay, Vice President, Allison Biggs, Treasurer, and Laura Williams, Secretary. Arcola Recreation provides recreational opportunities for area youth to participate in organized athletic programs including basketball, soccer, t-ball, softball, and baseball.

Community President Boyer shared, “Investing in kids and their activities is very important to Peoples Bank and Trust. We are blessed to be able to support the boys and girls in Arcola as they take to the new diamond that was recently added to Moore Park. The City of Arcola has done a tremendous job of revitalizing the park over the past few years with numerous investments such as this new diamond, splash pad and other park improvements.”

Secretary Laura Williams said “We would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You to Peoples Bank and Trust for their generous donation to the Arcola Rec program. We appreciate their support in helping our organization in our efforts to build, strengthen, & develop Arcola’s youth through the benefits of Sport. Thank you again for helping us in this endeavor.”
