Peoples Bank & Trust Contributes to Simply Arthur

Peoples Bank & Trust recently contributed $1,000 to the Simply Arthur to assist with economic growth and development in Arthur and the surrounding area. Fredy Moreno, AVP Business Banking, as well as Dawn Boddy, AVP Consumer Banking, and Karri Stutzman presented the check to Angie Parsons, Communications Director with Simply Arthur.

Formed in 2009 as the Arthur Area Economic Development Corporation, a group of volunteer community leaders recognized the importance of investing in the growth of the Arthur Area. Today the organization is known as Simply Arthur. Simply Arthur is composed of a Board of Directors of 12 volunteers with the same commitment of making the Arthur Area a thriving place to live, a place to work, and a great place to visit. Their main focuses include strengthening and expanding new and existing businesses through networking, collaboration and opportunities. As well as developing and growing a successful tourism economy through innovative opportunities, promotions and partnerships. Connecting visitors with area businesses while encouraging collaboration within the community.

Simply Arthur has a focus to strengthen and expand new and existing businesses through networking, collaboration and opportunities.
